In english.

In english.

Trying something different.

Because I have some foreign friends, so I decided that I should try to write my blog in english. I use english almost every day, by talking with my contacts in Europe – trying to sell they horses… 😉 I think this is a natural continuum. So I’m living still in Finland and I’m in situation with 13 horses at my own stable. I’m struggling what to do with my so called ”career”. Whole winter I had problems with my stomach, which reacted with stress. I had a few weeks sick leave, but every time I got my nerves together, I got more sicker again. It was just a vicious circle. I never had a time to heal in peace. Not just my stomach, I also have massive issues with my back. I got injured six years ago, but it’s still painful if I’m doing anything hard, including riding. That’s why I haven’t been training for a long long time. It’s just a shame, because I have so good horse now!
I made a decision couple of weeks ago to end our ridinglessons. I have been keeping ridinglessons for six years in winter’s snow and summer’s heat. Enough is enough and everything has it’s time. This is so ungrateful business, because you are always doing something wrong for every opinion and never get gratitude from anything. Maybe it’s sometimes easier to quit than continue fighting… I’m also sick of horsepeople trying to convince that they are better than others in every possible way. Zero fucks was given… My focus is now on training horses and renting boxes. I’m sure that I want to keep on coaching for one day, but now I taking a small brake. Luckily I have two wonderful riding instructors to help me and take care of my students for this summer!
We’re planning to go abroad for a while. Alex hurted his arm three weeks ago when he fall off from carriage at work. The arm went out of it’s place and he was in pain! I think he has to have some other job before he hurts himself worse. I’m not that into trotters. I have asked all around my friends, but nothing too interesting has got up. We got one good offer from Belgium, from a small showjumping stable, near Brussels. With information I have now, we’re leaving there in july. At first I have to get our stable in shape, that they can manage. Our jackrussell Sulo need his EU-passport from vet, then he can travel with us. I’m trying to sell couple of horses and rest of them has someone to ride them (and paying for it). I’m sad that I have to leave Akro here for some time, but maybe I can have him to Europe later. It’s so expencive and hard thing to do. Meantime he will been taken good care by Jenni!
I haven’t been in high school so I haven’t learned top english in any place either. If there’s mistakes in this post, I don’t need any smart ass to come say about them. I know how to use Google Translate… 😉
